It was in 1917 that Emilio Hochstrasser Koch founded what is now known as Autotransportes Mexico-Texcoco, which currently covers a wide range of bus routes within the country.
With this, a long family tradition in transportation began. Expressos Charter Buses begins operating in 1994 aiming to become the national leading company in the area of touristic and personnel transportation, always in the cutting edge of transportation aided by innovative technology. Expressos Charter Busses offers its clients a high quality service through an integral logistics team backed by the latest technologies available.

His grandson, Oscar Hochstrasser Roldán founds Grupo Horo S.A. de C.V., a transport group in partnership with Grupo Estrella Blanca that covered transport networks in over 20 states alongside other respected companies like Transportes Chihuahuenses, Autobuses Blancos Coordinados, Transportes Gacela, Transportes Frontera, Futura, Futuristas, Flecha Roja, Cuahutémoc and Tres Estrellas de Oro.
Expressos Charter Buses is founded and directed by the newest family generation as a direct response to the growing national demand of high quality touristic transportation.
Expressos Charter Buses begins transport routes in Los Cabos in association with Prestigious DMCs of the area.
Operations and routes networks begin in Cancun, as well as the establishment of the company's headquarters.
Due to the growing demand of personnel transportation that the growing hotelry industry created in the area, Expressos Charter Buses launched it personnel transportation-only line: Yellowline. The same year the 20,000 m2 headquarter's modern new building was opened as a way of continuing to facilitate and improve our services.
Parallel to Quintana Roo's tourism development, and the opening of Puerto Costa Maya cruise port, Expressos Charter Buses grew as well. With the opening of the Puerto Costa Maya, we began to provide services to arriving tourists who wish to visit the archeological sites of the region. In addition, we opened our base in Mahahual which became one of Expressos Charter Buses strongholds.
These were years of innovation for Expressos Charter Buses. We introduced in the regional market the Midibus, a new bus imported from Brazil with the capacity for 25 passengers, completely transforming touristic transportation in the area. Also, answering the need of tour operators we introduced the Jumbobus; a specially designed bus with a capacity of 61 passengers and units fully equipped for handicapped passengers.
We began operations in Tapachula, Chiapas and Central America.
The base in Playa del Carmen was inaugurated to increase our service and efficiency in the region and works began to open the base in Tulum. In addition, this year we began operations in Veracruz. To respond to such growth, we have just introduced the new PB buses of Irizar who's striking image has resulted in a great success.
